I completed my Ph.D. research in 2017 at Design and Analysis of Communication Systems group in the faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Twente.  As a PhD researcher, I worked with Geert Heijenk in the WALNUT project funded by STW for designing an energy-efficient MAC layer protocol using Transmit Reference modulation for the underlying physical layer. My research interests span a wide range of topics in the areas of wireless and mobile communications, digital transmission and protocols for wireless networks. I enjoy programming and software development.

Previously I obtained my Master's degree in Information Technology with Digital Transmission major from Tampere University of Technology, Finland. I worked as a Research Assistant in the EUREKA/CELTIC B21C project (Broadcast for 21st Century) at the Wireless Communications and Positioning research group in Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering with Jukka Rinne and Ali Hazmi for one and half years during my Masters studies.

I completed my bachelor in Computer Science and Information Technology from Islamic University of Technology, Bangladesh. I was also engaged in teaching both before and after my masters in my alma mater Islamic University of Technology, Bangladesh
